Banda Aceh City Receives Innovation

BANDA ACEH - Ministry of Home Affairs  establish 30 districts / cities across Indonesia as a nominee recipient of the award "Innovative Government Award2011", one of the city of Banda Aceh.

"The award was received by Deputy Mayor, Illiza Sa'aduddin Djamal, in Kemendagri General Secretariat Office in Jalan Medan Merdeka No. 7 North, Central Jakarta, on Monday 24 October," said Plh Head of Public Relations, Wirzaini Usman. The Award was presented by the Secretary-General
Ministry of Home Affairs, Diah Anggraeni.

Of the 30 nominees rich city of innovation, will be selected again to get the city's best innovations. Of the 30 cities to 12 cities filtered again, and only taken four cities, and announced this November.

Government Innovative Award is one
Ministry of Home Affairs activities that have been implemented since 2007. The award was given to the district / city achievers and have an innovative breakthrough in promoting local, independent in carrying out the road in the middle of the limited government resources, and have a competitive edge.

34 Residents of Aceh Jaya Natural disease elephantiasis

CALANG - As many as 34 people in three districts of Aceh Jaya District Sampoiniet namely, Setia Bakti and Teunom, experienced disease elephantiasis. Associated with the disease, the government is only able to provide preventive medicine for residents affected by the symptoms.

"We can only deliver preventive medicine to the citizens, so as not to have contracted the disease elephantiasis and provide inhibitors for residents who have experienced the disease. because the disease elephantiasis when it started to grow very difficult to recover, "said Chief Medical Officer of Aceh Jaya, Cut Kasmawati, Monday (14/11) in Calang.

He added that the issue of disease elephantiasis is caused by worms vilariasis because of frequent are on a damp spot or mud. He hoped the public to remain alert to the disease,with good personal hygiene and preventive medicine are available in health centers or other places. He did not mention in detail the names of the elephant foot disease in AcehJaya, but observed that the 34 people had been recorded by the Health Office in Aceh Jaya
